This is what repairable earbuds look like!

Today arrived my new Fairbuds that I ordered after a very frustrating repair attempt of my old Sony Linkbuds S. And I could not resist to directly disassemble them to see if their 10/10 repairability score is deserved. It definitely is!

Replacing the battery of the ear buds themselves does not even need a screwdriver and can be performed directly on the go! This is a huuuge contrast to the glued-in battery of my old Sony Linkbuds S. The battery of the charging case can also be easily replaced and only needs a normal phillips screwdriver that should be part of every household.

Reassembling them was just as easy as taking them apart. I took the opportunity to decorate the casing with a cookie. 🍪
